Day 1 : Kathmandu arrival (1290m./4273)
Arriving in Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA), you will be greeted by a Nepal Alternative Treks airport representative. Transfer by private vehicle to the three star category hotel in Kathmandu. Stay overnight on B/B basis.
Day 2: Preparation permit/Sightseeing in Kathmandu
Today, we will prepare mustang permits and other trekking documents while you will be taken to sightseeing places as Bhaktapur, Boudha and Kathmandu durbar square by private vehicle and professional tour guide.
Day 3: Kathmandu -Pokhara (823m.) 6 hrs. driving
With a morning wake up, your guide will pick up you and transfer to the tourist bus station and drive 6 hours through the beautiful river view and Nepalese countryside to reach the Pokhara lakeside and transfer to the three star category hotel and rest of the time explore the surrounding lakeside areas and stay overnight at hotel on b/b basis. B+L
Day 4: Pokhara-Jomsom by flight –Drive to Chhusang (2980m.) 3 hrs.
After an early breakfast transfer to the airport for a morning flight to Jomsom, a super scenic flight of 25 minutes brings you at Jomsom, the district headquarter of Mustang. This is a large town. It is also a major village on the Kaligandaki area linking the age old Trans-Himalayan Salt Trade route to Tibet. From Jomsom onwards it is very windy in the afternoon; we drive on the gradual path on the Kali Gandaki river bed and finally reaching at Chhusang. On arrival, check in the hotel with afternoon free for a stroll around the village. Stay there overnight at lodge. B+L+D
Day 5: Drive Chusang –Tsarang-Lomanthang (3840m.) 6 hrs.
Drive from Chussang to Lomanthang. Stay overnight there at lodge. B+L+D
Day 6: Explore Tibet border by jeep
Explore Chhoser cave and Tibet border by Jeep. Stay overnight at same Lodge. B+L+D
Day 7: Drive Lomanthang-Tsarang (3600m.) 2 hrs.
Drive to Tsarang and explore it. Stay overnight at lodge. B+L+D
Day 8: Drive Tsarang-Samar (3200m.) 5 hrs.
Drive to Samar and stay overnight there at lodge. B+L+D
Day 9: Drive back to Jomsom (2720m.) 5 hrs.
Drive back to Jomsom then stay overnight at lodge. B+L+D
In the afternoon, explore Marpha village.
Day 10: Jomsom- fly to Pokhara –fly to Kathmandu
This wonderful morning, after breakfast we check in the airport to fly back to Pokhara. This is a dramatic flight between gorge of the two huge mountains Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. Either beautiful flight to Kathmandu (22 minutes) or take overland (5-6 hours) then transfer to three star category hotel on b/b basis.
Day 11: Departure to International airport
Nepal Alternative Treks provides you private transportation to Trivuwan international airport and departure to your home or other destination.
